Tricia Sawyer Beauty - The Naked Starlet Shimmer Powder

*Post originally written by Olivia J on The Unknown Beauty Blog. If you see this post elsewhere, it has been stolen!**

Okay, the title made it sound like something nasty and seductive.  Nasty-no; seductive-possibly.  This is a loose shimmer powder by Hollywood makeup artist Tricia Sawyer.  By the sound of it, the words "loose shimmer" may sound like a mess, but this powder is housed in a nifty container which makes the product spill-proof.  There are 3 colors: Skinny, Ambitious, and Naked which retail for $22USD.

I have the Naked Starlet which looks like a mix of brandied apricot with a soft glow of pink dotted by gold sparkles.  The sponge container will apply a luminous glow onto the cheeks or anywhere on the body.  If you want the full effect of the color, unscrew the container and get the opaque finish by patting the powder on with a brush.  The powder feels silky smooth with a creamy feel even though it isn't a cream; will not feel dry on the skin.

I usually wear this during the spring and summer months to get the maximum effect of the glow and sparkles.  During the summer, wearing this with minimal makeup and bronzer gives a finished look without looking over done.  The only negative aspect of this product would be your personal taste on sparkles.  If you don't like any type of micro-glitter sparkle, avoid this one.  If you don't mind, then go ahead as sparkle like a twinkling star.
