MOR Moroccan Mint Candle

*Post originally written by Olivia J on The Unknown Beauty Blog. If you see this post elsewhere, it has been stolen!**

I bought this during the winter months and it didn't impress me much because it smelled like I had walked into some musty attic that had been sprinkled with mint leaves to hide the "old" scent.  I guess the dry winter air did not really help to enhance the smell of this candle, so I put it away and had hoped that the warmer weather would help.  Now, that spring and intermittent summer heat is hanging around; I find that the candle does smell better and refreshingly sophisticated.

The mint is light and crispy but not the type that smells like a mentholated balm; it enhances the smell of the green tea by giving off just enough of the leafy smell without the dry twig scent of the tea.  (Did that make sense?)  The scent of cloves and musk gives it depth but I think there is ginger to lift the scent a bit so it doesn't turn into a winter hot toddy.

Of course, my nose could be way off since it isn't a sophisticated one but let's just say that it is a warm weather candle.  This being said, I do enjoy the smell of this one.  Unlike the perfume, flowery or even the food scented candles which evoke a sense of sophistication, nature, or warmth; this one brings an air of bohemian rhapsody.  If you do yoga, this is one scent that will complement a good workout.  Stimulating to the nose yet relaxing to the mind.
