Indie-pendent post - Meow Cosmetics Egyptian Treasures Eye of Horus Eyeshadows

*Post originally written by Olivia J on The Unknown Beauty Blog. If you see this post elsewhere, it has been stolen!**

I bought these four eyeshadows ($8USD full-size; $1USD sample size) during the Meow Cosmetics Easter Egg hunt which was a fun thing to do on their part, finding all the eggs that carried various amounts of discounts.  If you found the golden egg, that one had the biggest discount.  I hope it is done again next year, just pure fun!

Anyway, I did a small order and bought four eyeshadows from the Egyptian Treasure Collection: Eye of Horus.  They are a rich metallic collection of eyeshadows influenced by the Egyptian treasures and they are gorgeous.

Meow Cosmetics Egyptian collection

  • Ancient-Brassy brown color; nice metallic neutral
  • Anubis-metallic chocolate brown; makes a great eyeliner or smoky brown eye look
  • Miw-bright metallic pistachio green with a golden glow, unusual but very wearable
  • Obelisk-Are you a taupe lover? This is another schizoid taupe that can't make up its mind between a metallic sage and gray.  Gorgeous!

On my eye I have the Obelisk on the lid.  Pretty isn't it?

If you haven't tried Meow Cosmetics, I would say you are pretty much missing out on an innovative independent cosmetic line that gets better with each year.
