Chanel Nail Polish - Peridot and Graphite

I honestly didn't expect to buy these at all, let alone without looking at the price tag.  Since when did these polishes cost $25USD?  I remember when they cost $8USD!  Okay, when I was a teen and $8 for a nail polish was major plunking down of dollars.  Like all my other Chanel purchases, I bought these two colors without hesitation-Peridot and Graphite.

Chanel Peridot

Peridot has that duochrome or more quadchrome characteristic to it.  The metallic finish changes from a gold, brass, green, burnished brass to a soft turquoise.  Nothing understatedyet very wearable in all settings and sure to make a statement when worn.  A polish that is worth its personality as a magic elixir or alchemy.  I don't regret spending $25 for this one.

Graphite is the sister to Peridot different yet the characteristics are the same.  Super metallic almost glitter finish without the grittiness of glitter.  The color changes with the light, going from a sparkled silver with gold flecks to a sage green to gold infused gray to a glint of turquoise.  A mix of the magic once bottled in some alchemists lab but now wearable for all.  Worth the $25 because it is hypnotic!

The nails in various lighting conditions from indoor, outdoor full sun, to outdoor sunset.  Sunset brings out the mystery of these polishes.
