Indie-Pendent Post-High Voltage Cosmetics-The Eyeshadows
A few posts back, I did a post on the Lip Candy, with that order I did get some eyeshadows. These eyeshadows vary in price $5-6USD for a jar that is packed full (stuffed like a Thanksgiving turkey) with highly pigmented color. I bought 9 jars of color. Actually 6 and 3 were free on a special deal. I mostly ordered shadows from the Danger, Danger! High Voltage! collection and a few from the regular collection.

My Brow Pencils and Such
I first did a little post on Make Up For Ever Waterproof Eyebrow Corrector a while back. Well, that tube is almost empty and I thought I would try different brow products from different brands. I have a hard time finding products for my brows because I guess I am a bit picky. I have black brows but a light skintone (NC-20-25 with an olive undertone). I don't use black to fill in my brows because it looks unnatural and doesn't look good with my skin coloring. (Black is often used to fill in dark brows on dark skintones.) I like to use grey but greys are really hard to find and when I do find one it isn't quite right so I always mix with a dark brown which really makes it look more natural. Using two depths of color is really the best way to color the brows for a natural appearance but due to time constraints, it can be a hassle.

Yep, it is Friday and thank goodness because this is a chance of some little blog to get more followers. Please, check out Artdonatella. A blog about well you know makeup and fashion written by a gorgeous young woman Artdonatella with a cute dog. (I love pictures of cute little dogs!) Anyway, if I could turn back the clock and be her age, I would be wearing all the colorful eyeliners she has accumulated! Go follow her blog!

The Beauty Encyclopedia by E.L.F.-Neutrals Edition for Eyes
As I write this post medicated with cough syrup, you might think that I did not review this product with a clear mind. Well, being medicated just means I am in a relaxed state but I still know a crappy product.

Black is Black-Swatches of Some of My Black Eyeliners
Black is black only when it is generalized as a color amongst other colors. But when you are makeup aficionado, a small variation can start a collection. I swatched some of the black eyeliners that I had. I didn't do all since some were put away in some box somewhere. These are the ones that I have used regularly and up until now I really didn't pay attention to the blackness of each.

Indie-Pendent Post-High Voltage Cosmetics-The Lip Candy
In this post I am featuring High Voltage Cosmetics. The line consists of mineral eyeshadows, blushes, highlighters, and lip products created by owner Jasmine who has a flair for creating colors that reflect the time and place of the names given. I keep looking at the "Stuck in the 80's" collection and can remember feeling the way the colors are titled. Okay, I am getting a bit too psychological but it is true, you feel the way the colors are created in this line.

I also apologize for not answering emails and commenting on blogs because a medicated mind really brings hallucinating thoughts, so I thought better to stay quiet. More Wishful Eyes on Ben Nye
Ben Nye is one line that holds a permanent place in my heart. It is a line that started my journey into theatrical and pro lines. It is also a line that bares the name of a great makeup artist who has worked with the classic Hollywood crowd from Tyrone Power to Gene Kelly. However, the one that stands out the most for me is Planet of the Apes. When I was a kid I was so mesmerized by that film! Apes that actually talked and walked like humans! Cool movie! Believe it or not it was only years later that I realized that Moses, okay Charleton Heston was barely clothed! LOL

Tarte Smooth Operator Amazonian Clay Illuminating Serum
The weather is getting warmer and my makeup habits get lazier. I don't like to do things that I know will make my makeup melt off. It just wastes my time. So, in preparation, I decided to find a new primer or another primer that didn't feel slick and slimy as the temperature rises to hellfire.

Ulta Eye Crayons
I bought these at Ulta Eye Crayons when they were on sale or either when there was a free gift. I forget because these aren't memorable pencils. The colors I bought were White Wedding-frosty white; Birthday Girl-frosty warm pink; Rich-shimmery forest green.

Follow This Little Blog Friday
This week's featured blog is The Work of Fiction is Skin Deep. The blog is written by Lilllisal, an Irish girl living in Urban-Decay-Naked-Palette-deprived Portugal. Now, that is pretty painful! She is a true beauty junkie that surfs the net to satisfy her cosmetic curiosity in a country that may not be as cosmetically saturated as the U.S. or U.K. If you feel her pain, then please follow her blog.
Now, for you other beauty bloggers who are just starting out or need more followers, I know getting the word out is hard. (My blog isn't the big but it gets, at least, someone's attention.) Sometimes, just mentioning your blog in someone's comment box can be uncomfortable or some might not like it. No need to worry. Every Friday as I feature a new little blog, you small and new bloggers can just leave your URL in the comment box below for everyone to see without feeling embarrassed or guilty. As a courtesy, please do this on this Follow This Little Blog Friday posts. Pass the word on to other beauty bloggers too. Who knows, yours could be the next one featured!
Sidenote: Comments and blogs that appear obscene or links that are just spam to shopping websites will be deleted.
