I bought these two compacts at Covent Garden Antique Market, during my naive days in London.

Talk to the Hand
You have probably seen those temporary tattoos, stick on nail polish, eyeliners, and now even lips. Fashionable and fun, yet they come at a stiff price and can be a bit tedious and time consuming than the original method. They all attract attention when worn and then the novelty wears off. Where is the companionship to these products? Well, I found something that will provide not only a fashionable statement but companionship. Doesn't cost an arm and a leg, just a hand in this case. For about $6USD you can get these temporary Animal Hands stick on tattoos.

Frankened Nail Polish-Iced Mind
After my failed or what I believed was a failing attempt at what was suppose to be a great color-Iced Root Beer. I allowed my brain to rest. Now, my brain cells are back to frankening but not as wild and complex as before. This time I wanted a chrome taupe. I don't have any taupe polishes I don't think or else I wouldn't have made one. This one took some mixing because my mind was lost. I was thinking about something else while making this one. The result is a chrome taupe with mauve undertones. Its normal and wearable. Icy and kind of year round wearable. I mixed the following colors: FingerPaints Bronze Sculpture, Faces 360, Nicole Miss Independent, ORLY Sea Gurl, and OPI Ink. I couldn't tell the proportions because I had to do it by eye.

Indie-Pendent Post-Mosha Katani Sormeh
As you know, I am crazy about kohls especially the cone shape crayon, and I would try any other form only if I could trust the ingredients. Lo and behold, I came across Mosha Katani's shop on Etsy. Mosha Katani is a very talented Los Angeles based makeup artist. You can look at her portfolio here. She created powder eye kohls housed in beautiful containers resembling a Genie bottle. I know you are saying Guerlain has a powder kohl. Yes, but this one is different. First, there are five colors to choose from: Black, Gray, Rustic Brown, Navy, and Nude. Second, they are made from natural ingredients. Third, they are specifically made for the waterline, therefore are non-irritating. Fourth, they are made to stay on all day.

Indie-Pendent Post: Fyrinnae Arcane Magic and their Other Eyeshadows
Fyrinnae is one of my favorite indie lines to date. The line creates colors that exist in my dreams which actually means my dreams come true! The eyeshadows all come in loose form and for some of you that may sound like a pain. I have gotten used to it and often use them foiled. I don't use just water since it can eventually cause fallout as it dries. I use a non-oily eye makeup remover which I explain in this post.

Sneak Peek-Guess What I Bought
Doesn't it remind you of I Dream of Jeannie? Unlike Major Nelson who found the bottle on the beach, I bought mine. Well, I actually bought three of them since I am greedy when it comes to my wishes.

Thierry Mugler Cosmetics-Regard Stellaire Sublime Nature
I admire Thierry Mugler as a fashion designer, he is an artiste with a fantastic vision of runway trends. He is like the geek of fashion, creating futuristic and sexy clothing for a very hip space station. I bet if he could buy real estate on Mars, there would be a Thierry Mugler nightclub there. He is cool, he is geeky, he is a true fashion icon. But it is his make up line that leaves me a bit queasy.

My Nails-Zoya Codie
I bought this on a whim because I didn't have any dark brown polish, or at least I don't think I do. I just don't take inventory of my stash. I think I should someday so I don't buy duplicates. This is part of Zoya's 2011 Fall Collection of Smoke and Mirrors. I obviously went for the smoke part probably because I am a non-smoker.(<----just some stupid jibberish)

Tana Stone-Private Eye (Lashes)
The name sounds like some private detective: Tana Stone Private Eye-Wednesdays this Fall on ABC. Well, the actual full name is Tana Extreme Black Stone Mascara Block ($19.95USD) which I find a mouthful for just a cake mascara.

Yeah Mon My Red Stripe
No, it isn't the beer. It is my hair. I told you in a previous post I put in a skunk stripe. Well, I put in a crimson red to eliminate the white hair. I used the N Rage Crimson Red ($9.99USD). I wouldn't call it a completely demi-permanent haircolor nor is it a semi-permanent. It is somewhere in between. The color is pretty thick and will stain anything, so don't be careless when doing this and I mean cover the floor and wear an old t-shirt because this stuff is concentrated color.

Sneak Peek at What I am Testing Out
I bought this off of Amazon. It's a cake mascara. Some of you are old enough to remember Maybelline's and Max Factor's versions. And others probably never even touched one.

The I Liner Chronicles-Pink Piggy and Seductive Red
Okay, the title of this post makes it sound so seriously fab but it isn't really compared to what Lyuba-chan and Rae do with their eyeliner. I was just bored with my makeup over the past long weekend. Actually bored with the usual black or brown liner. Yes, I wore the red liner out because that is just me and life is too short. I just didn't care what people said. I am getting old and I am allowed to be an old fart! (By the way, I put a skunk stripe in my hair too!)

The Midnight Blurples Nail Polishes
Whenever I read about someone who has makeup and never opened or tried the product, I wonder how could you do that? I have to touch every eyeshadow, blush, lipstick that I buy as soon as possible. I can never leave these products untouched. But when it comes to nail polish, I will buy it and tuck it away. Soon, I will have accumulated colors of the same likeness without knowing.

SpaRitual Matte Nail Polishes-Mind and Spirit
I like matte nail polishes. I usually like them more if they have shimmer or glitter in them. These two from SpaRitual which is a vegan line are what I consider my subtle meditative matte polishes. When I wear these, I feel like I should breathe deeply and say, "om". They are that relaxing to look at.

Vintage Lipstick-Really? Am I that Old Already?
I thought it was just yesterday that I was living in the early 90's. I hate to think stuff from then is really vintage but I guess it is. (How depressing to think that time does really fly by!) Anyway, Anna from LoodieLoodieLoodie had a post on vintage Cutex polish from the 90's. I was trying to think what makeup stuff I had from way back. I usually don't keep cosmetics since I really can't stand the clutter. I also can't stand tucking the stuff away in a box for a long time because eventually some cockroach will find it. (You have probably seen those flamboyant cockroaches roaming your neighborhood.) The only cosmetic stuff that I tucked away in a nice, clean, and dry environment were three lipsticks. Two of them were made by Dior and one was by Crie (pronounced coo-ree-ay).
