You know how it is, you are bored sitting on the couch and nothing is on TV.  You channel surf and eventually end up watching one of those shopping channels.  For me my clicker stopped at Home Shopping Network, HSN for short.  I caught a glimpse of a new beauty gadget called Romi Beauty Digital Foundation.

If you have noticed from my posts or from pictures, I went on a Chanel binge.  I really didn't expect to buy that much let alone a lip balm priced at $45USD.  Chanel Hydramax + Active Lip Care is considered a lip moisturizing treatment.  It does feel more like a skincare product than a lipbalm.  The texture is hard in the jar but melts enough from the finger contact and body heat applying a thin layer onto the lips that coats and protects with no color.  Moisturizing and non-greasy, this balm can be used around the eyes for that extra burst of moisture and easier application of makeup.

I have been ignoring gel eyeliners for a couple of reasons lately.  One because they dry up easily.  Two because they dry up easily, they tend to clump up on the brush.  Three the application becomes less than smooth.  And four, they begin to flake after a couple of hours of wear.

I first did a post on the LashEm products here.  I had my mom test out the products to get her viewpoint.  As I promised, there would be updates on the progression of the Measurable Difference Lash Gel ($69.99USD).

I honestly didn't expect to buy these at all, let alone without looking at the price tag.  Since when did these polishes cost $25USD?  I remember when they cost $8USD!  Okay, when I was a teen and $8 for a nail polish was major plunking down of dollars.  Like all my other Chanel purchases, I bought these two colors without hesitation-Peridot and Graphite.

Highlighters, luminizers, brighteners, call them what you like.  They all serve to brighten the complexion.  I, being the firm believer in brightening a dull skintone during the dark winter months decided to buy two popular liquid highlighters.  One being a prestigious one and another being the popular "artist" brand.

I first mentioned these Graftobian Neutralizers ($8.99USD) in this post.  These are not concealers but neutralizers.  They are used in conjunction with concealers.  Sometimes, a discoloration cannot be covered up by concealer alone; it has to be neutralized.  Yellow neutralizes redness while pink neutralizes gray/brown.   The texture of these are very smooth and color is pigmented, a little goes a long way.  After application if you see the color of the neutralizer on your skin, you have applied too much.  It should just brighten and neutralize the area you apply to.

My last post, I reviewed the Stilazzi Traditional Set Bag.  A nylon black bag that carried the essentials for the makeup artist and hair artist.  In this post, I review the Stilazzi Pro Set Bag in clear ($49.95USD).  The bag is made of a very durable and thick clear vinyl.  The vinyl may be stiff at first and it was suggested by Stilazzi to use a warm blow dryer to soften it a bit.

Recently, I was contacted by Stilazzi…Wait you haven't heard of Stilazzi?  I first heard about Stilazzi when perusing one of my favorite online pro makeup shop Frends Beauty Supply.  The line focuses on the organization and supply of beauty utensils for the professional makeup artist and hair artist.  Some of you may be thinking but I am not a pro.  Well, don't let that stop you, they won't slam the door on your face for not being one.  You are welcome to purchase their products too!  After all, a beauty junkie needs to organize stuff as much as a pro.  Need help?  Try this bag.

Like Goldilocks I am looking for stuff that is just right and this California Mango Mend cuticle cream suits me well.  I first saw this on JeweledThumb's blog. She mentioned it was greasy at first which I don't mind, I like to feel the moisture of cuticle creams.

Did I tell you about the stuff I bought this November? Yes, I did in this post.  Did I tell you what happens when I go shopping to the mall with another cosmetic addict-my mother?  The picture above should tell you.

A few weeks back, I was contacted by Lashem to try some of their products.  At the same time my mom was complaining about how the skin around her eye area began to felt dry due to the weather change.  Perfect timing! I thought.  I received the products and instead of me testing out the products, I thought a point of view from a mature and wiser woman would be better for these eye products.  This is what she thinks of the products.

I can't believe when I post this it will be four days into November.  Just yesterday it was a sizzling August day and now the holidays are going to be in full swing including the shopping.  I really didn't buy holiday stuff just some little things that I need as I grow older.  If I go at this rate, I will have another traincase filled with November buys.  I have to stop...really!

I wasn't planning on buying this palette at all but when ULTA sends me a 20% off card that includes prestige items, well it is hard to resist.  I first laid eyes on the Tarte NeutralEYES palette ($44USD) during the hot summer months where my brain refuses to process color because it is being fried by the sun.

After I bought my Maybelline Pink Lollipop lipstick, I figured why not buy more.  I was thinking of buying them all but someone had tested the raspberry color.  And with my previous purchase of a nude lipstick, well that is starting my foray into the nude lips AGAIN!
