I'm sorry there are some topics I am not passionate about, for example the Kardashians. (Oooh, I expect some people unfollowing me now.) Just like the twitter followers who think I am a Justin Bieber fan. Let me tell you this, I AM NOT a fan. You can unfollow me! I know other blogs follow celebrity news which I find nothing wrong with. I often think, should I do that? But if I did, I would have no passion in my writing because celebs aren't that interesting to me in terms of gossip. I do like to watch them on television since I am a semi-tv addict. I like to be entertained.
Yes, I liked to be entertained which means this summer this blog is slowing way down. It isn't going away but the posts are dwindling because of one main factor--Pinterest! As @annieytown of Blogdorf Goodman said, "Pinterest soothes my soul and silences the lambs. I love it so!"
If you think some bloggers have disappeared completely from their blogs because of some real life busy bee lifestyle, well think again. (Okay, maybe some have disappeared due to real life really making a dent in their virtual life.) Pinterest is the place where everyone seems to be. I like it because it is like sitting in an art gallery looking at all I like whether it be hairstyles, fashion, or food. I just pin things that capture my eye and it really does soothe my soul. I see the flow of the hair, the crinkle of the fabric, the drooling of my mouth as I imagine the taste of the food.
I have spent and pinned so much that I ended up in Pinterest jail. Not fun but it is better than Twitter jail which I have been to many times. (Food is awful in there!)
And yes, there is Twitter. I am on there and did you know my avatar has six digits? Yeah, some of you may not have noticed and some of you just have! LOL I probably have wasted my time on there but love it too since I know I am just a minor TV addict compared to others. I bow down to those true television watchers who know their stuff.
I do still like this blog and I do like makeup. I do like the readers that appreciate me and my blog. I just need some time out. And, to Stephanie, you know who you are. Yes, I still have the post you have written haven't forgotten. :-)
