A Berry Berry Good Lip Product from Whip Hand Cosmetics

If you read my October Wantable review here, one of the products included was a Whip Hand Lip Hit Long Wearing Lip Veneer ($20).  Whip Hand Cosmetics is a makeup line created by pro artist Riese Lauriat.  Instead of outsourcing to overseas companies for manufacturing, Whip Hand keeps the business at home in the good old USA.  It also doesn't do any animal testing unless you consider the makeup maniacs who love their products.  For me, this is the first product I have tried by Whip Hand.

At first glance and after watching the final season of Breaking Bad, all I could see was a similarity to a syringe.  In a sense, it is appropriate because the product does give the lips a look of a perfectly full potent pout.

I received the color Entice, a berry based red.  This is my look-at-my-gorgeous-lips color for the fall and possibly well into winter.  Not only is it a berry red that isn't too dark or too red, it has a gorgeous metallic finish.

The container may resemble a syringe with its silicone tip which has become popular packaging amongst cosmetics is unlike others.  The end is shaped like a flat spatula allowing for easy application.  The tip of it allows the product to outline the lips without using a separate lip pencil.

The texture of the product is non-sticky and moisturizing with a full coverage finish of a lipstick and the ease of application of a gloss.

As for long-lasting, I wouldn't say it is one of those products that dry onto the lips providing a coated finish.  This one is more like a highly saturated lip product similar to a popular pro brand sold in the popular makeup stores.

If you haven't tried Whip Hand Lip Hit Lip Veneers, you are missing out because you get the combination of a pro brand and the luxury finish of a high end brand in a nifty silicone tip packaging.  This may be the first product I have tried from Whip Hand but it won't be my last.
