This post is about the appreciation. In this time of all these electronic gadgets and instant gratification, what stands out turns out to be a simple act of old-fashion speed.
I am a little, long-running beauty blog unknown by many and sometimes under appreciated by some brands. Honestly, it takes a small act to know what makes a brand a better company, not the amount of over-saturation of PR on the web. It is a simple thank you!
Recently, I received a Thank You card from Kim from Overall Beauty Minerals. You might not think this is a big deal, but it is for me because it is a very rare act from many especially makeup brands! I was touched in many ways because Kim took the time to thank me for my review. She also took the time and effort to "write" with a pen a short note of gratitude. You know how it feels to see actual ink on paper? Feels totally different now, especially in the day of just instant messaging and text on screen.
Not to sound like some new age-like, words written by hand have this aura or energy which people can feel. I did with Kim's card.

The Blogs
Both of my blogs, this one TUBB and Into the Palette (ITP) have been redesigned. Can I say looking for a blog template is frustrating! Yes, there are zillions out there and I have downloaded zillions. I can tell you I wasn't completely happy until now.
The template is Ripple Clean & Responsive (the free version) and made for blogger by Arlina Design. She is a hidden jewel in the world of blogger templates. She has great blogger templates which are responsive and stylish. If you are looking for a blogging template for the blogger platform, you should check out Arlina's site which is in Indonesian. If you don't understand Indonesian you will need to have the translator ready on your web browser.
