Eyeliners - Ready, Set, Hold On!

I really was going to make this a more in depth post but my brain isn't cooperating with me.  Every tap on the keyboard is an act of thinking.  I have writer's block and words aren't coming to me that easily so this will be a short and simple posting on eyeliners.

As you know, eyeliners today come in many formulas. You have the creams like Three Custom Color Specialists and Glo Minerals.

You also have gel formulas like Yves Saint Laurent.

You have pencils in regular waxed base or long wearing ones like NARS and MAC.

You have liquids like NYX.

And you have the cake eyeliners or eyeshadows that turn into eyeliners like NARS.

But before I go on about the application and such, get this:

It is a bathroom tile that makes an excellent palette for swiping excess makeup.  These are really cheap at you local hardware store.  I got mine in a two-pack for about $4.  I chose white because then it doesn't interfere with the makeup colors.  I opt for this one more than my stainless steel palette.  This one doesn't slide around on the vanity and like the stainless steel one it just takes a wipe with isopropyl alcohol or just use dish soap to wash.

This is what my tile looks like at the end of my makeup application.

I have used the back of my hand but quit after I found an unknowing streak of make up on my clothing.

Okay, so go get your tile and then we will move on to the next post.
