It is not that I forgot to review this product.  It just became a part of my makeup routine, fitting right into everything perfectly like a solved puzzle.  You may be wondering how can that be?  Well for one, the product is aptly named Sweet Cheeks ($19) by Manna Kadar Cosmetics, and it does give that perfect color of sweetness on the cheeks.

After some makeup clean up last year, I had some "space" in my traincases.  Spaces that should be left empty because I had all that I needed.  But my weakness in a good sale like the one B-glowing has just had me gazing at the available eyeshadows.  I really didn't need more eyeshadows but these were too good to pass up and I never tried Jemma Kidd.

As you know in my first post on the Touch Face Vibrating Sponge (£22-£34), I raved and raved about it.  Well, I am now addicted to it and have to reach for the climactic bliss every morning when I apply my foundation, and nightly for the ecstatic buzz of my moisturizer.  Yes, I use it twice a day and my makeup life has never been better!

* I bought this*

This is my second shipment of Starbox.  I started last month when they offered a full size 15 color eyeshadow palette.  You can read my review of it here.  This month turns out purely to be a surprised since there weren't many hints as to what was to be in the box. I subscribe to Starbox because it is one of the monthly subscription beauty boxes that deals only with makeup.  And as a makeup addict, a monthly payment of $15 + 1.98 for shipping within the U.S. is a very good price (higher for international) for some monthly makeup trinkets.

My recent excursion to the drugstore only resulted in a simple single purchase, the CoverGirl LipPerfection in Scarlet Twist ($9).  I have seen other drugstore brands with their cute chubby pencils and ignored them.  Maybe, I shouldn't anymore.  I have two chubby retractable lip pencils from Tarte which I like and wondered if this CoverGirl chubby and saturated lip balm stacked up to them.

And an Urban Decay Naked Basics ($27) upgrade.  My first stint as a depotter occurred back in the tail end of the 1970's.  I sat in my bedroom admiring my Borghese GWP palette.  My first real make up palette from a cosmetic counter line.  How I gazed at it for hours until I noticed one of the shadows had loosened from the base.  I was devastated.  Then I thought, if I could remove the rest of the shadows and just add other makeup items that I liked, I could have my own ultimate customized palette!  But how would I remove the eyeshadows?

That's right I skipped the small size A and B's and went straight for my cup size C.  Oh wait, this post isn't about lingerie is it?  Okay, just ignore what I said unless you are buying me lingerie.  Anyway, all the talk about BB creams like blemish balms and beauty balms went way over my head or just flew by without a splatter.  But then the CC creams or color correction creams piqued my interest.  There are a few out and I wasn't too keen on the ingredients listing which on some read like a Hollywood contract!  The one I chose to try has ingredients that are understandable, the CC cream I like is by Juice Beauty.

I honestly have to say that compared to other makeup junkies, my collection of cosmetics is small.  I do end up giving away stuff to people who would never have the opportunity to try some products due to their income status and I also purge expired products for health reasons.  After my recent purge I noticed my highlighters outnumbered my bronzers by 4 to 1.  Were there differences amongst these highlighters?  I had to take a closer look.

One of my first purchases for 2013 happens to be a drugstore item, the Maybelline Color Tattoo Metal in Inked in Pink ($7USD.  I know you are probably thinking why only one small purchase?  Well, I recently had to dump (trash) about 5 pounds (could have weighed more) of make up due to expiration, color changes, and just boredom.  So, when replacing buying new items, I have been really analyzing what colors I actually will where than what I will stare at and hoard.

Pantone color of the year is Emerald, specifically 17-5641.  This is a very beautiful jewel-toned green.  Nothing faded or bland, just a luscious green that endures all that is bad to make life good.  For me this color is epitomized by not makeup but my new favorite show of the year.

You know how it is when you see a new eyeshadow palette especially if you are a neutral eyeshadow lover and it is by Urban Decay -- you want it badly!  Even though there are several palettes out there offering colors that are really easily accessible individually and probably already owned by many as basics in their stash; Urban Decay Naked Basics ($27) puts them all together in one handy sized palette.
