If you read the first parts, you have determined your natural hair color level. A very important number to remember because without this, you are pretty much throwing a dart at a haircoloring board with the hopes that it will turn out the way it is shown on the box.
You have also learned about the primary, secondary, and tertiary colors. These colors are also part of your hair. Now let’s break down your hair color within the levels given.
- Level 1-Black = Blue (brown)
- Level 2-Black/Brown = Blue Violet (brown)
- Level 3-Very Dark Brown = Violet (brown)
- Level 4-Dark Brown or Dark Redhead= Red Violet (brown)
- Level 5-Medium Brown or Medium Redhead=Red (brown)
- Level 6-Light Brown or Light Redhead= Red Orange (brown)
- Level 7-Dark Blonde = Orange (brown)
- Level 8-Medium Blonde = Yellow Orange (brown)
- Level 9-Light Blonde = Yellow (brown)
- Level 10-very light blonde/white (not grey) = Yellow White
Do you see how your hair color is a variation of brown? Do you also see how the primary colors make up your hair?
Fascinating, isn’t it? Hey, did you fall asleep? (*POKE*) Remember, all of this because it will all come together in the hair coloring puzzle!
