ORLY Rock the World \m/
Rock the World is another nail polish from ORLY Mineral FX collection. The color reminds me of a lipstick I had way back by Sebastian Trucco called Courtly-a burgundy rose with gold glimmer to warm the color up. This one is similar with the burgundy rose base but not only does it have gold glimmer, it has rose pink glimmer.

Vintage Evening Bag
Here is another vintage item that I bought long ago at Covent Garden's Antique Market. After my initial purchases of the vintage compacts, I went scouring for some other vintage stuff which included a gorgeous crotchet evening dress which I will probably show in a future post. During the search I found this gorgeous evening bag. I am not sure what year, maybe 1940's or 1950's but it is a steel-caged bag housed some extras inside.

Nails of the Moment-ORLY Emberstone
I bought this awhile back when the display of ORLY Mineral FX had been slightly pillaged. I didn't have a selection to choose from but I figured why not try what was left. The one I show here is the Emberstone. I am not really a red nail polish wearer. I know it is a classic color but for some reason red polish makes me feel so matronly. (That's only me and not on someone else.) However, this color really changed my mind. The color can look like a warm tomato red to a raspberry both with gleaming glints of gold and pink. The pictures don't do the color justice because the texture of it contributes to its unique color payoff. To me it looks like a raspberry colored cellophane had been wrapped around a cluster of gold encrusted rubies and pink sapphires.

Ben Nye Special White Matte Foundation
Ben Nye has been a line that I have been using for ages and it has become a line I can depend on for price, quality, and consistency. One of my favorite items that I use and probably a bit out of the ordinary is the Special White Matte Foundation (IS-1). As you can see by the picture, I have hit the bottom of this container. The color isn't a white white like a clown white. This is more of a theatrical or character type white. (Think of Queen Elizabeth during the Golden Age.) I bet you are wondering why and how I use this.

My Thoughts on Wet n Wild Eyeshadows
Yes, I have some Wet n Wild eyeshadows. They were hidden deeply in my box of shadows. Wet n Wild has a long standing memory in my life because of the price. I remember as a little girl the stuff sold for 59¢ each or 2 for $1 at Walgreens and when it was on sale the stuff was 3 for $1. Today, it is still a bargain drugstore line but how does it compare to what I have tried?

Makeup Constipation-Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion
I define Makeup Constipation three ways-(1) Staring at an overwhelming collection and not knowing what to use. (2) Stuck in a makeup rut. (3) When a makeup item won't apply correctly or is hard to apply.

The Best Matte Eyeshadows-Viseart Basic Eyeshadow Palette
After the previous post of my box of eyeshadows, I have concluded that this Viseart Basic Eyeshadow Palette is one of the best basic matte shadow palettes that exist. If you don't have this palette; you are a makeup loser. I first mentioned this palette when I first started my blog here.
Look at All These Eyeshadows and Some Other Unimportant Talk
Here is a box of eyeshadow that I have accumulated in the past two years of blogging. I still have more but it didn't fit inside the box. Compared to others, my collection is relatively small since I purge each season. What I have kept, really are for reference and for my own analytical purposes. Call me a makeup geek or a makeup connoisseur, what I have analyzed with all these eyeshadows really have nothing to do with the average consumer. However, I figured since I have these eyeshadows, some of my future posts will reflect how I feel about them even more. Just remember, all of the posts are just my opinions and you are free to agree or disagree.

Face Stockholm Picture Perfect Foundation
This is a huge container (1.5oz-$48USD) of Face Stockholm Picture Perfect Foundation which a friend gave me a while back. I assumed it had been mislabeled because she had porcelain skin and even though it had been labeled Shade A, from the bad swatches on the site I would say this is anywhere from a "C" to maybe an "F". Either way the foundation is certainly a light medium to medium with yellow undertones.

A Quick Look at LORAC Bejeweled Eye Shadow Palette Trio
At first when I saw this in the ULTA flyer, I didn't believe the price. Knowing mistakes can be made, I decided to go down and check this out in person. Amazingly, there was one left and I know why-the price. LORAC Bejeweled Eye Shadow Palette Trio is an ULTA exclusive. Housed in one box are THREE eyeshadow quads that easily would retail for $34USD each. However as an awesome bargain all three are given at that one price! You get three easily coordinated quads-Amethyst, Quartz, and Topaz. Each one is individually boxed and sealed allowing them to be divided up for the upcoming holiday season.
