Yes, I bought this one because when you have all of Julie's lipsticks, you want the new ones that come out because they feel so comfortable on the skin. This is another Bijou lipstick which retails for $20USD. The Bijou Lipsticks ones are great if you aren't into the semi-matte reds. These are like a lipbalm texture but with more color but less than the lipstick. Jacqueline is the newest one.
Jacqueline is the perfect color for spring. To me it looks more of a rose pink with some mauve that moves towards lilac. It is a cool toned without being too cool toned so it will work on many skintones. There are no blue or gray undertones to this lipstick. If I can describe it further, it has the sophistication of rose softly warmed by cashmere with that touch of spring pink. It is sophisticated, polished, and playful at the same time.
I wore Jacqueline with Julie Hewett Hue 004. It can also be worn with Hue lipliner 011. Either one works well without straying from the actual color.
If you are looking for a new Spring lipstick with that sophisticated and pop of color, I would suggest this one. Great into summer and probably the new "nude" for fall!
