Recently, I was contacted by Stilazzi…Wait you haven't heard of Stilazzi? I first heard about Stilazzi when perusing one of my favorite online pro makeup shop Frends Beauty Supply. The line focuses on the organization and supply of beauty utensils for the professional makeup artist and hair artist. Some of you may be thinking but I am not a pro. The Stilazzi Traditional Set Bag ($39USD) is a great alternative or addition to the traincase. The set bag is generally used to carry the portable supplies needed for the shoot, everything has to be organized for the quick touch-ups and quick changes. The bag alone measures 12 ½"L x 8 ½"W x 10 ½"H. There are six outside pouches and two velcro pouches on each end. There are also two pockets on the inside. It can be carried by the carry handles which are reinforced for easier handling or by the adjustable shoulder strap which can be worn across the body. Velcro makes the bag easy to open and close, no fumbling around with zippers. Easy for both women's and men's hands.
The shoulder strap is detachable making it more of a purse type bag. Notice the elastic band above the pockets. These are important to keep your makeup brushes or hair brushes in place. Doing touch ups on a client is quick and easy when your brushes are easily accessible.
In the picture above, what you see spread out is what was stored in the bag. I could put in more, for example, a water bottle, my camera, and notebook. The bag surprisingly didn't weigh that much because of its sturdy nylon material. As you know a traincase can be a heavy item to lug around and not something you want to bump people with either. This one can stay close to the body or just handled easily by holding it. If it gets dirty, just wipe it clean with a damp cloth.
If you aren't a pro or even a makeup junkie, don't let that stop you from buying this bag. My friend who happens to be a guy and whose wife is expecting saw this and said it would make a great diaper bag! Why? Easy to open and close with man hands! Have you ever seen a manly man rifle through a woman's purse? It's like they are clawing into something! The side pockets hold the bottles in place and like I show, it can carry baby wipes.
And if you aren't a makeup junkie, then you can always use it as a grocery bag too!
